Responsibilities:

  • Manage ABL Aviation’s delivery stream with seller or OEM from initial specification validation through build and to final delivery.
  • Ensure that the aircraft specifications and records are uploaded to internal systems.
  • Preparation and updating of aircraft technical specifications
  • Assist with maintenance of knowledge database
  • Manage the availability and access to technical records
  • Review of supplied documentation in relation to maintenance reserve claims and internal processing of claims in accordance with the provisions of the lease agreement.
  • Maintenance reserves management and reconciliations
  • Provide technical input to lease extensions, sale documents & LOI’s
  • Manage the technical delivery of transitioning aircraft to ensure compliance with agreed terms
  • Work to ensure timely (re)delivery of aircraft
  • Perform or arrange Technical inspections at pre-purchase stages & mid-term audits
  • Records review during pre-purchase, mid-term audits & at aircraft transitions
  • Effectively and efficiently manage our technical consultants
  • Conduct reviews of lease agreements as part of the transaction due diligence process for acquisitions with focus on technical related provisions.
  • Support key internal departments including Legal, Marketing and Commercial with contributions as required supporting origination and execution of transactions and the preparation of required documentation.

Requirement:

  • You will be an engineering graduate in aeronautical or mechanical engineering with at least 3 + years of professional experience ideally gained in an airline in a technical services role or in a leasing company in a technical role directly related to the job function.
  • You will have gained a strong technical foundation through your experience gained and an understanding of the commercial aspects of the business.
  • Relevant industry experience and ideally a proven track record in the aviation industry, specifically in aircraft asset management.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of commercial narrow body aircraft.
  • Experience in aircraft transition management with a leasing company, airline or MRO.
  • Familiarity with aircraft maintenance programmes, modifications, reconfiguration work and aircraft technical records.
  • Knowledge of aircraft lease documentation and maintenance risk exposure.
  • An understanding of aviation and aircraft certification requirements.
  • Familiarity with Aircraft technical publications such as AMM’s, IPC’s, Service Bulletins, AD’s.
  • Familiarity with Aircraft maintenance programmes, records and related technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with OEM data systems such as MyBoeingFleet and Airbus World.
  • You’ll be an effective communicator with a strong cognitive style and ability to think conceptually as well as fluidly.
  • You will have the ability to operate at all hierarchy levels including internally and externally with confidence.
  • Well organised, meticulous attention to detail
  • Self-starter, using own initiative but also a strong team player with good people skills
  • You are operating efficiently with strong personal organisation and ability to manage and prioritise workload and deliver to agreed deadlines.
  • You will have gained a strong technical foundation through your experience gained and an understanding of the commercial aspects of the business.
  • You are able to travel as required in support of assigned projects.
  • Some experience of data analytics and presentation is considered an advantage.

  • Have strong organisational ability combined with a proactive approach
  • Ability to interact effectively at senior level in a professional organization
  • Have excellent IT skills / High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook as well as eagerness to learn new applications to promote efficiency.
  • Additional language
  • APU and Thrust Reverser management experience
  • Have proven problem-solving skills
  • Will be a competent communicator and have the ability to write detailed technical reports
  • Self-motivated, adaptable and creative team player, with a deep desire to learn new skills
  • Experience budgeting and forecasting for engine expenses and removals
  • Will have experience with Engine MRO GTA’s and Engineering Services contracts
  • Experience with engine condition monitoring review and interpretation
  • Experience with engine workscope evaluation against engine lease agreement obligations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to read and understand complex lease contracts.
  • You are able to travel as required in support of assigned projects.
  • Entitlement to work in EU.
